You know the old saying, "physician heal thyself"? Well, I am about to share my stressful world with all of you by blogging about it. How? I just signed myself up on our new email programme, 90 Days of Quick & Easy Stress Relief in Crazy Times! I am calling it my personal Stress Relief Challenge...just a paragraph or so about how I use each of those 'ordinary to quirky' tips to give me relief from my own daily stress. Here we go...
Stress Relief #1 With all the gloom about global currencies plunging, I was feeling disheartened about having to rethink my move to the UK (curious about the big move to London check out our Burn the Boats category posts). I read the first email's "To Do" tips. Instead of getting overwhelmed by all the "hype" of global finances, I went to my internet and googled for "facts" from the finance converter.
Relief--while my Canadian dollar is worth much less than the American one (which is all the news focuses on), I was relieved to see my dollar had gained on the British pound, which is relevant to me and my decisions. So, I went from "hype to fact" easily, which significantly reduced my stress and recouped my attitude toward the big move. Hmm...now to implement the other 2 tips from today, which will be easy to do tonight while watching television!
If you are interested in joining me on your own Stress Relief Challenge, sign up for our programme 90 Days of Quick & Easy Stress Relief in Crazy Times! and let me know how the 45 tips help you reduce your stress.
See you again in 2 days.....Dr Bev
